Presentation: The Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCUYO) upholds education as a public, free, and secular good, as a human right, and as a responsibility of the Argentinian State. It aims to build citizenship through the comprehensive education of artists, teachers, scientists, professionals, technologists, and technicians who contribute to a more just society. The university produces, develops, adapts, transfers, and exchanges knowledge, practices, and technologies in response to social demands and needs. It is composed of 12 faculties, 3 institutes, and 7 schools, mostly located in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. The university funds initiatives that promote social engagement and contribute to social and academic inclusion, with the goal of improving the situation of socially vulnerable sectors. UNCUYO is committed to the development of scientific, technological, and artistic research, production, and dissemination, focused on socially and/or scientifically relevant issues, enhancing their quality and relevance. Through the extension, the university conducts activities that foster a space for socio-cultural dialogue and interaction, where knowledge is recreated and modified in its interaction with society. As a higher education institution, UNCUYO also strives to create and strengthen systems of collaboration with public and private actors, involving the entire educational community. Furthermore, the university aspires to be a global institution that promotes international values and competencies within the educational community. To this end, it develops programs for student, faculty, and staff mobility, international research projects and seminars, and "internationalization at home" programs, among others. As part of the university, the Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias (FCA) is dedicated to fulfilling the fundamental functions of public education. In response to the socio-educational demands of the local, national, and international context, it focuses on the agricultural sector, environment, and food.
